Over two decades ago, driven by a passion for creating captivating and transformative spaces, Michelle Ford began her journey in interior design. After successfully completing her first design project and exploring color and space planning as a creative hobby, she transitioned from a long-term career in insurance, earned her interior design degree, and founded Michelle Ford Design. Today, Michelle is a sought-after designer known for her expertise in multifamily, dental office, workplace and senior living interior design. Michelle’s talent for creating inviting and functional spaces has made her a leader in commercial design. She collaborates closely with clients to ensure that every project reflects the client's vision and enhances the experience of all who use the space. With a deep understanding of designing for both aesthetics and functionality, Michelle has become a trusted name in the interior design community throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Life Beyond Design

Outside of her design career, Michelle enjoys a variety of personal pursuits, including cooking, reading, entertaining, and traveling both locally and abroad. Residing in Kansas City with her husband, she treasures time with her three sons, two granddaughters, and her cherished rescue pup. Her personal experiences and passion for design are evident in every project she undertakes, making Michelle Ford Design a unique and trusted choice for multifamily interior design, senior living interior design, dental office design and residential design consulting.
